CALLED FROM DARKNESS TO THE LIGHT

We who were all once in DARKNESS were called to the light by JESUS, the GOOD

SHEPHERD. He says, THAT HIS SHEEP HEAR HIS VOICE: AND HE CALLETH HIS

OWN SHEEP BY NAME AND LEADETH THEM OUT. AND WHEN HE PUTTETH

FORTH HIS OWN SHEEP, HE GOETH BEFORE THEM, AND THE SHEEP FOLLOW

HIM: FOR THEY KNOW HIS VOICE. AND A STRANGER WlLL THEY NOT FOLLOW,

BUT WlLL FLEE FROM HIM: FOR THEY KNOW NOT THE VOICE OF STRANGERS.

Don't you hear JESUS calling your name. He wants to lead you from DARKNESS

TO THE LIGHT. MAKE JESUS YOUR GUIDE. JESUS SAID I'M THE WAY, THE

TRUTH AND THE LIFE, NO MAN COMETH UNTO THE FATHER BUT, BY HIM.

JESUS IS THE LIGHT THAT CAME INTO THE WORLD. HE CAME AS 'THE

BRIGHTNESS OF THE FATHER'S GLORY. THAT WE WHO WERE IN DARKNESS

THROUGH HIM COULD SEE THE LIGHT AND BE SAVED.

THE WHOLE WORLD WAS LOST IN DARKNESS OF SIN -THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD IS JESUS

LIKE SUNSHINE AT NOON-DAY HIS GLORY SHONE IN -THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD IS JESUS

NO DARKNESS HAVE WE WHO IN JESUS ABIDE -THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD IS JESUS

WE WALK IN THE LIGHT WHEN WE FOLLOW OUR GUIDE -THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD IS JESUS

YE DWELL-ERS IN DARKNESS WITH SIN-BLINDED EYES -THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD IS JESUS

GO WASH AT HIS BIDDING AND LIGHT WILL A-RISE -THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD IS JESUS

NO NEED OF THE SUN-LIGHT IN HEAVEN WE'RE TOLD -THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD IS JESUS

THE LAMB IS THE LIGHT IN THE CITY OF GOLD -THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD IS JESUS

ONCE I WAS BLIND, BUT NOW I CAN SEE -THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD IS JESUS

JESUS hears his children crying, sees them Hungry, Lost and Dying.
Who will comfort all their Sorrows? Who will brighten their Tomorrows?

JESUS pleads with us to reach them -with our gifts of LOVE
and TEACH them, That the KINDNESS we are giving -Is
the CHRISTIAN way of Living.

YOUNG and OLD alike He's CALLING, HUMAN grief is
so appalling. Since he gave HIS LlFE to SAVE US, Let us
share the LlFE he gave us.

When we join our SAVIOR'S SERVICE, he will strengthen and
preserve US. He will GUIDE our DAILY LIVING; and he'll
BLESS the LOVE we're GIVING.

When we aid the POOR and LONELY, We're not caring for
them ONLY. When our Love some Suffering eases, We have
done the same for JESUS.

RISE and FOLLOW! HE will lead US, Heed the cries of
those who need US! And when LlFE has ended for US,
Heaven's Glories lie before US!

I ASKED GOD
I asked God for strength, that I might achieve;
I was made weak, that I might learn humbly to obey.
I asked God for health, that I might do greater things;
I was given infirmity, that I might do better things.
I asked for riches, that I might be happy;
I was given poverty, that I might be wise.
I asked for power, that I might have the praise of men;
I was given weakness, that I might feel the need of God.
I asked for all things, that I might enjoy life;
I was given life, that I might enjoy all things.
I got nothing that I asked for but everything I had hoped for.
Almost despite myself, my unspoken prayers were answered.
I am among men, most richly blessed.'

I can do All things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Philippians 4-13



A Deliverance Prayer

Lord Jesus Christ, I believe that You are the Son of God.

You came in the flesh, lived without sin, died a substitu-

tionary death upon the cross for my sins and rose from the

grave on the third day.

You redeemed me by Your blood and I belong to You. It is

my desire to live for You and to glorify Your name. I confess

all of my sins, known and unknown, and I ask You to forgive

me. Forgive me now and cleanse me with Your blood. I

forgive all others as I want You to forgive me.

You know my special needs: the things that hinder, that

torment and that defile. I come to You as my Deliverer. I

claim the promise of Your Word, "And everyone who calls on

the name of the Lord will be saved, for...there will be

deliverance as the Lord has said" (Joel 2:32). I call upon You

now. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, deliver me and

set me free. Amen.
